Thinking about starting therapy?
If you are considering individual, couples or family therapy, you can arrange a free 15-minute online consultation with me. It is a brief, no-obligation conversation where you can ask questions, say a little about what has brought you here and consider whether working together may be a good fit.
You do not need to know exactly what kind of therapy you need before getting in touch. I will let you know whether I think I can appropriately offer what you are looking for and what the next step would be. If I do not think I am the right person to help, I will tell you.
The consultation is not a therapy session or clinical assessment. Social work consultation enquiries are arranged separately.
Practical Questions
Does Shoreline provide online therapy?
Yes. Shoreline Counselling & Psychotherapy provides online therapy. Sessions take place through Google Meet, so you do not need to be located in Waterford.
What types of therapy does Shoreline offer?
Shoreline offers individual therapy for adults, couples and relationship therapy, and family therapy. Family therapy may include young people aged 10 and over, but Shoreline does not provide individual psychotherapy to children or teenagers.
Is therapy available in Spanish?
Yes. I provide online therapy in both English and Spanish. Clients can use the language that feels most natural to them and, where helpful, move between the two during therapy.
Does Shoreline work with neurodivergent people?
Yes. I work with neurodivergent adults and with families where a young person aged 10 or over is neurodivergent. A formal diagnosis is not required. Shoreline provides neurodivergence-affirming psychotherapy, but does not provide diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence.
How can I arrange an initial consultation?
You can use the contact form to send a short enquiry or request an initial consultation. Ana will respond to discuss what you are looking for, whether the service is likely to be suitable and what the next step would be.
Confidentiality and your information
What you bring to therapy is confidential.
There are limits to confidentiality, and I will explain these clearly before we begin rather than leaving them in the small print.
Sessions take place on Google Meet. You can find information about how your personal information is collected, stored, used and protected in the Privacy Notice.
