Individual Therapy
You might come to therapy with a clear concern, such as anxiety, burnout, grief or a major change in your life. Or you might simply feel that something isn't right, without being able to explain why. You don't need a diagnosis or a clearly defined problem to begin.
Perhaps you keep finding yourself in relationships where your needs are hard to express, feel responsible for everyone else's wellbeing, or live with a persistent sense that you aren't good enough. Questions about identity, self-esteem and boundaries can be part of the work too.
I work with neurodivergent adults, including those beginning to explore whether neurodivergence might help explain their experiences. This can include the exhaustion of masking, recognising neurodivergence later in life, and living in environments that don't accommodate your needs. Shoreline does not provide diagnostic assessments.
Together, we would look at what is happening now, how earlier experiences and relationships may be involved, and what keeps particular patterns going. I will ask questions and share observations, and you can tell me when something doesn't fit. The focus develops around what matters to you, including changes you want to make and support you may need.
Individual psychotherapy is for adults aged 18 and over.
